Founded in 2017, DIRECTORS’ LIBRARY is an independent release platform and resource for the film, video, and creative industries. We are a member of the BFI’s Film Audience Network in the UK and are partnered with ARRI, Kodak, and Panavision to explore opportunities to amplify select projects on social.
We also host Assembly, a live format for filmmakers to share and discuss their latest work with peers in an open, conversational setting. Roundtables have taken place in London and New York, with more cities planned for 2026. Registration and information about upcoming events can be found here.

To have your recent projects considered for publication on DIRECTORS’ LIBRARY, existing members can submit via our submission form. You can learn more about submitting projects and supporting our Library with membership by visiting membership registration.
If you have a film made for a non-profit charity or if you are currently enrolled in, or are a recent graduate of a partner film school, you are welcome to share a screening link with us by email without membership or cost.
