In a highly conceptual approach to music-video-making, Jamie Whitby employs unsual camera and editing techniques to invoke surreal worlds and play with our perception of reality, something which he suspects might come from his father’s (a BBC documentary maker) fascination with LSD. The London-based director has crafted music-videos for artists such as Yellow Days, Glass Animals and Genghar, and has come up with scenes which had us thinking “How did he even do that?”.
