This is a movie I keep going back to. I’ve probably seen it over 50 times. It just does it for me. It shows how important having the right actor is.

FILM

That was the first Scorsese film I saw. I was late to most films because I had very limited access to TV growing up and seeing the recklessness displayed by the characters felt like rebellion. The cinematography is a masterclass.

FILM

I first saw it on Ghana’s state broadcast TV. Everything about it was fascinating to the 12-year-old me. It looked like fun and that stuck with me.

FILM

I always had a special connection to the song and when this new video was released my world was rocked. From the cast to the edit, everything transports you. It actually makes you feel good when you watch it. A true masterpiece.

MUSIC VIDEO

The sword fight choreography is perfect. As a creator I am inspired by the effort and dedication it takes from the entire team to achieve something like that. Above everything, the piece depicts a turbulent relationship in a way only Hiro Murai can.

MUSIC VIDEO

This piece challenged my whole perception of what a music video can be. It is a masterclass in execution. The concept and their approach were a perfect match.

MUSIC VIDEO

Dayday knows how to deliver a message visually in a way that one minute doesn’t feel rushed. This piece is very intentional.

CAMPAIGN

I created this in collaboration with a friend who owns a sustainable fashion brand. We filmed it in beautiful town called Akosombo with no plan or shotlist. It is one of my early steps in creating intuitively.

CAMPAIGN

It was great to witness the new skating community in Accra get global acknowledgment and what it went on to do for everyone involved. It is an inspiring piece for me.
